About Solar and Battery work in Frankston and the south-east

Solar and battery systems work best when they’re sized around your actual home, roof and energy use rather than a standard package. We look at your roof, shading and how you use power before recommending a system, then handle installation, monitoring, repairs and future expansion.

Getting the system right

The wrong-sized system is money wasted, however good the panels are. We look at your roof’s orientation and shading, and how you actually use power across the day, before we size anything. Bigger isn’t automatically better, it just means a bigger bill for capacity you might not need.

Adding a battery

A battery holds onto your daytime solar for the evening, when power costs the most. Whether it actually pays for itself comes down to how much you use and when, so we’ll run the real numbers with you rather than assume.

Repairs and expansion

Already have a system that’s underperforming, or ready to add to it? We diagnose faults, replace failing inverters, and add panels or a battery to a system you’ve already got.

Frequently asked questions

Is a solar battery worth it?
It depends on how much power you use and when you use it. A battery pays off fastest for households using a lot of power in the evening. We’ll run the real numbers with you rather than push one on you regardless.
How big a system do I need?
It comes down to your actual usage across a full year, not whatever package size happens to be on special.
Will solar work on my roof?
Most roofs work just fine. Orientation, pitch and shading all matter, and while north-facing is ideal, east and west-facing roofs still perform well.
Will I still get a power bill?
Almost certainly, just a much smaller one. If anyone promises you a zero bill, take that with a grain of salt.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. Just let us know now and we’ll pick an inverter that makes adding one later straightforward, rather than a hassle.
Are there rebates available?
We’ll walk you through whatever’s available at the time and what it actually means for your system.
