About Smart Home Installations work in Frankston and the south-east

A smart home should make things easier, not give you another collection of devices to troubleshoot. We set up lighting, security and other smart devices around the way you actually use your home, configure everything properly and work with existing equipment where possible.

Start where it is useful

You don’t need to automate the whole house to get the benefit. Smart lighting and a video doorbell cover most of what people actually want, for a fraction of the cost of going all in.

Set up so it actually works

Most smart home frustration comes down to setup, not the hardware itself. We configure every device properly, group them the way you’ll actually use them, and test the scenes before we leave, so you’re not the one troubleshooting it.

Working with your existing gear

Already got a few smart devices scattered across different apps? We can bring what you’ve already got into one app and fill in the gaps, rather than making you start from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

What smart home systems do you install?
App and voice-controlled lighting, cameras and doorbells, alarms and climate control, all set up to work together instead of living in five different apps on your phone.
Where is the best place to start?
Smart lighting and a video doorbell. Between the two, you get most of the value for a fraction of what a full system costs.
Do I need to rewire for a smart home?
Usually not. A few setups run a bit better with some extra cabling, but that’s the exception rather than the rule.
Will it work with my existing devices?
In most cases, yes. We work with what you’ve already got and fill in the gaps, rather than making you start from scratch.
Does it still work if the internet drops out?
Partly. Devices that run on local control keep working fine, cloud-reliant ones won’t. We design the system around that so an internet outage doesn’t take everything down with it.
Is it hard to use?
It shouldn’t be. If the rest of the family can’t use it without you around, it’s not really a smart home, it’s just your hobby.
